Our Philosophy

At Pali Retreats, we believe in nurturing the mind, body and soul. What is Pali`?

Pali` is a form of Buddhist chanting.  

Pali` is also an ancient language of India and is very poetic in nature.


Chanting is proven to be one of the best practice for meditation.  Bhakti and Pali chanting helps to awaken positive energy within yourself and connect to the supreme divinity.  


To attain Bhakti is to love yourself and respect others.  It involves meditative japa or mantra recitation in a rhythm.  Chanting is known to heal the mind and awaken your deep senses and connect to your space.

Understanding Ayurveda

Ayurveda has 3 doshas Vata, Pitta & Kapah

Ayurveda has 3 doshas that our body can have; Vata, Pitta and Kapha.  Once we can figure out what type of doshas you have, the food and nutrition is planned to balance and negate what could be affecting your whole being.


Ayurveda is purely based on Vegan & Vegetarian diet only.   In stricter Sattvic diet, garlic and onion is restricted.  Sattvic diet is mostly raw (microgreens and sprouts), unprocessed, lightly cooked vegetables and more healthier.


If you are planning on an Ayurvedic diet on your retreat, please specify Sattvik, Vegan or Vegetarian for your meal preparation.
